Carne Guisada

1 Tablespoon Vinegar
Top Sirloin Steak
1 packet sazon with achiote
1 packet sazon without annatto
1 teaspoon adobo
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1/4 can of goya tomato sauce
1 tablespoon sofito
1/4 cup of oil
2-3 goya hot pickled peppers, with a dash of the juice
1 1/2 teaspoon of sugar

1 Slice your steak into thin strips
2 Add both sazons, adobo, red pepper flakes, goya peppers & vinegar to season the meat.
3 Heat oil in a pot & add sugar.
4 Once the sugar turns a dark brown in the pan, add your meat and fry. *Warning, oil will pop up*
5 After frying the meat, add just enough water to cover the meat.
6 Cover & let boil for about 20 - 30 minutes on medium to low heat, ensuring the water does not completely evaporate.
7 Once meat is tender, add tomato sauce & sofrito and let sauce thicken a bit on medium heat.
