Black Beans


3/4 teaspoon sazon with achiote
3/4 teaspoon sazon without annatto
3/4 teaspoon adobo
dash salt
2 tablespoon sofito
1 chicken bullion cube
1/4 cup of oil
1 can of black beans
1/4 cup water


1 Heat oil in a pan
2 Add sofito and sauté until fragrant
3 Add chicken cube, both sazons, & adobo and saute for a minute or two
4 Add the can of black beans & water and bring to a simmer.
5 Simmer for about 10 minutes on low.


If you like thicker beans, add less water and simmer for a bit longer. If you like more watery beans add more water
