Jasmine Rice


1 3/4 cups of water
1/8 teaspoon of pepper
2 cups of jasmine rice
3 1/4 teaspoon of salt
3 tablespoons of oil


1 Rinse Jasmine rice until water runs clear.
2 Add all ingredients to pot and put on high heat, uncovered stirring occasionally.
3 Once there is no more water turn on low heat and cover, stirring occasionally until tender.


When I cook Jasmine rice for the Pork Fried Rice, I use a less salt since the dish is already flavorful.
