Homemade Creamy Alfredo Sauce

1/3 cups of butter

1/4 cup of flour

3 cups of milk

1 cup of heavy cream

1 1/4 cups of parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon of salt

1/4 teaspoon of pepper



I use a block of parmesan and shred it fresh. Pre-shredded cheese tends not to melt well and clumps together.

Melt butter and add flour together until smooth.

Stir in milk and heavy cream together slowly, until thicken.

Remove from heat and add parmesan cheese, salt and pepper.
