Creamy Chicken Alfredo Pasta


1 pound of chicken breast, cubed
1/3 cups of butter
1/4 cup of flour
3 cups of milk
1 cup of heavy cream
1 1/4 cups of parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon of pepper
Dash of red pepper flakes
1/8 teaspoon of sazon, with achiote
1/8 teaspoon of sazon, without achiote
1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon of onion powder
1/2 teaspoon of Italian seasoning
1/8 teaspoon of adobo
1/8 teaspoon of pepper
Dash of red pepper flakes
1 pound of pasta, cooked


1 Combine chicken and all spices and let marinate for at least 30 mins.
2 Melt butter and add flour together until smooth.
3 Stir in milk and heavy cream together slowly, until thicken.
4 Remove from heat and add parmesan cheese and all spices.
5 Combine sauce, pasta and chicken and let cook for another 5 minutes garnish with parsley.


I use a block of parmesan and shred it fresh. Pre-shredded cheese tends not to melt well and clumps together.
