Chinese BBQ Pork


2 pounds of pork chops, sliced into strips
1 small ginger root, peeled and chopped
3 stalks of green onion, chopped
1 tablespoon of cooking wine
2 tablespoons of sugar
5 tablespoons of soy sauce
1 tablespoon of hoisin sauce
1 tablespoon of oil
1/2 teaspoon of red food coloring


1 Combine the ginger root, green onion, cooking wine, sugar, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, oil, red food coloring and pork together in a bowl, wrap and place in fridge, if you are not leaving it in overnight, at least 2 hours before cooking.
2 Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
3 Bake for 1 hour.
