Beef Stir Fry

Ingredients

Marinade:

    • 1 tablespoon of garlic
    • 1 tablespoon of ginger, minced finely
    • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
    • 1 tablespoon of rice vinegar
    • 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
    • 1/8 teaspoon of black pepper

    Stir Fry:

      • 1 lb. flank steak, sliced thin
      • 1/2 cup of snow peas, slice long ways
      • 1/2 cup of carrots, sliced thin
      • 8 green onions, chopped
      • 1/2 cup of beef broth
      • 4 tablespoons of soy sauce
      • 1 tablespoon of light brown sugar
      • 2 tablespoons of rice vinegar
      • 1 tablespoon of garlic, minced
      • 4 teaspoons of sesame oil
      • 1 teaspoon of ginger
      • 1 teaspoon of cornstarch
      • 1/2 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
      • 1/2 cup of broccoli
      • 2 tablespoons of oil
      • Sesame seeds
      • Ramen noodles

      Instructions

      1. 1 Combine all marinade ingredients together with the steak and let sit overnight, or at least 30 minutes.
      2. 2 Cook noodles as directed on packaging and set aside.
      3. 3 Heat 1 tablespoon of oil, cook steak and set aside.
      4. 4 Heat the other tablespoon of oil and cook the peas, carrots in a separate pan. Cook for about 5 mins, so they are tender but still crunchie.
      5. 5 Add the broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, garlic, sesame oil, ginger, cornstarch and red pepper flakes, in the same pan as the steak was cooked in.
      6. 6 Once sauce has thickened add in the steak and noodles and vegetables.
      7. 7 Serve with green onions and sesame seeds on top.
