Beef and Broccoli


1 pound of flank steak

3 cups of fresh broccoli

1/2 cup of beef stock

2 tablespoons of corn starch

2 teaspoons of corn starch

5 garlic cloves, minced

1 tablespoon of oil

1/2 cup of soy sauce

1/4 cup of dark brown sugar


Toss beef in 2 tablespoons of corn starch, let sit overnight or at least 20 minutes.

Heat oil in pan, brown the steak and remove from the pan, do not drain liquid.

Add garlic to the pan, until fragrant.

Incorporate the beef broth, soy sauce, brown sugar and 2 teaspoons of corn starch and whisk well.

Let simmer until the sauce has thicken up a bit and add the beef and broccoli until warm.

Serve with rice and Enjoy!
