Beef and Broccoli


1 pound of flank steak
3 cups of fresh broccoli
1/2 cup of beef stock
2 tablespoons of corn starch
2 teaspoons of corn starch
5 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon of oil
1/2 cup of soy sauce
1/4 cup of dark brown sugar


1 Toss beef in 2 tablespoons of corn starch, let sit overnight or at least 20 minutes.
2 Heat oil in pan, brown the steak and remove from the pan, do not drain liquid.
3 Add garlic to the pan, until fragrant.
4 Incorporate the beef broth, soy sauce, brown sugar and 2 teaspoons of corn starch and whisk well.
5 Let simmer until the sauce has thicken up a bit and add the beef and broccoli until warm.
6 Serve with rice and enjoy!
